Definitely opt for the guided walk if you want to get the most out of your Zealandia visit! My guide, Claire, was friendly and knowledgeable and her passion for Zealandia and its inhabitants was quite infectious. I would’ve missed a lot of amazing birds and reptiles if I had just ventured on my own.

We were picked up on time by Steve and the drive was broken up with some stops at points of interest. We loved Margrain Vinyard and enjoyed the tasting and information. Moy Hall was fantastic for lunch and I was glad that we could get in to Palliser Estate.

Sol was a brilliant guide, gave us a lot of insights on every stop of the tour and really took his time to answer all nerdy questions we had! 100% recommended tour when in Wellington and 10/10 for Sol!

The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the Martinborough area and all the local wineries

Day tour is so recommended. Educational and fun. An amazing 2 hours!!
