As not a major appreciatilor art, I was very pleasantly surprised that I could actually enjoy my time and was able to truly appreciate his work. The explanations by the side of the pictures that kind of told the story, actually helped. His meticulous, systematic and scientistific approach was a marvel to see, as he slowly progressed from an amateur to elite, and the display try to show this progression. All in all, totally worth it even to the art non- connoisseur

The Van Gogh museum is absolutely worth a visit even for someone like me who doesn't have a great passion for painting. The museum is very well organized. The experience of cruising along the canals is very nice even if the docking point is a bit far from the museum and therefore I wouldn't have done them on the same day if not because I got this combined ticket.

Van Gogh museum was fantastic, great facilities for personal belonging storage. Very helpful friendly staff . Good experience for children , great selection of gifts in shop. The canal trip was good , good information provided by the guide . Seating on boat very cramped however , 3 facing 3 ,

The Van Gogh museum was very interesting, well worth the visit and the headset is well worth getting. The canal cruise was easy to book and find, good information and a great way to see Amsterdam.

It's a great combo to spend the day downtown Amsterdam
