Augusta: Jewel Cave Fully-Guided Tour

1. Augusta: Jewel Cave Fully-Guided Tour

Jewel Cave is the largest show cave in Western Australia, composed of three massive chambers. Visitors are immediately in awe of the sheer enormity of the first chamber, which is also home to one of the longest straw stalactites found in any tourist cave in Australia. Towering crystal formations, growing for many thousands of years, reach up towards delicate and intricate decorations suspended like vines across the ceiling. Hear stories of the "Tasmanian tiger" fossils found in the cave — these animals perished in the darkness after falling into the cave thousands of years ago. After exiting the cave, you'll have the option to take a self-guided walk through the towering karri forest above, during which you'll pass by the natural entrance to the cave, a small vertical shaft in the forest floor.

This tour was fantastic! We were conveniently collected from our hotel and taken on a wildlife adventure. Our tour guides, Ryan and Matt were very informative both on the drive and during our time at the sanctuary. We saw lots of nocturnal animals and were able to feed and pat the kangaroos. There were plenty of photo opportunities and we were not rushed at all. It was an awesome experience to be in the middle of the bush at night but to feel very secure at the same time. Perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Highly recommend!

The tour was excellent! Justin was absolutely fabulous and was kind enough to wait for us to get back to the Settlement as your website still has the meeting point as the Kingston Barracks!!! Please update the meeting point as if Justin wasn’t so kind or had a full booking we would’ve lost our money!

Amazing trip to a spectacular island by ferry and had a nice adventure tour by a fast boat around the island, visiting dolphins and seals. Recommended.

Was a fabulous day, because there was hardly any swell or wind we got into a lot of the beautiful sanctuaries. Definitely recommend. Great hosts.

Amazing experience with amazing guides. Thank you for a brilliant day :)
