After the cruise, enjoy a 3-course meal at a sea-facing restaurant. The sailboats Esperance and Serenity One follow the wind for this cruise, and therefore the destination is dependent on the weather at the time of the cruise. Your captain will let you know before departure your expected direction, but typical Cape Town summer wind blows from the southeast. First, leave the harbor and sail across Table Bay towards Milnerton Lighthouse, returning to the protection of Granger Bay in the lee of Table Mountain to watch the sunset, and then motor back to the waterfront. After building an appetite at sea, you then have a short stroll through the waterfront to the restaurant where you can enjoy your meal. Enjoy local fare at the City Grill, featuring exquisite panoramic views of the harbor and Table Mountain. Possible Weather Variations:  During inclement weather, when the seas are running too high, or the wind is too strong, the tour destination will be Cape Town Harbour instead of Table Bay. You will be able to enjoy a Harbour Lights Cruise. This cruise offers a perfect alternative offering magical views of Table Mountain and the lights of Cape Town and the harbor in the evening. In extreme conditions, the skipper will take every aspect into account, and may cancel the tour to ensure the safety of the passengers.

What people are saying about Western Cape

Nice to be in a small friendly group of 8 with a very informative tour guide. All three winery stops were varied and this was something we enjoyed. The restaurant recommended by the tour guide was amazing - we had the Bobootie. The wine tram and tractor on the last stop were fun, if a little touristy. Spectacular scenery. On the way back we were taken to Nelson Mandela’s last prison (long walk to freedom) which was a bonus and very moving

Faldella was absolutely amazing, she welcomed us into her home and taught us how the Cape Malay cook. We made Roti, Cape Malay chicken curry, samossas. She taught us about cooking with different spices and their health benefits. This was a great way for us to experience and learn different cultures.

Absolutely amazing experience, 100% recommended. Lovely wine tasting by the very knowledgeable owner, farmer and wine maker Greg and then a fabulous performance by Drum Struck who took us through the history of African music. A very lovely afternoon.

Such a lovely way to spend an afternoon in Cape Town as an alternative to all the usual tourist spots. Learning about the history of Bo Kaap followed by an amazing cooking class with delicious food. Would reccomend!

Very well ! For a wine lover the glasses are really very well filled for a tasting the prices remain very very affordable without hesitation go for it!
