Before embarking on a scenic drive through the Hungarian countryside, meet your English-speaking guide in front of your hotel in Vienna at the pre-arranged time. Continue to Budapest in an air-conditioned vehicle and enjoy the scenery.  Upon arrival in Budapest, take the opportunity to see famous sights, including the Vajdahunyad Castle, the Opera House, and the Parliament Building. In the Heroes' Square, admire the statues of the Seven Chieftains of the Magyars as well as the sweeping views of the city and the waters of the Danube from the Fisherman's Bastion. Enjoy ample free time to explore Budapest before meeting up with your driver for the return trip to Vienna. Your day trip concludes with transportation back to Vienna.

However, we also allow guests to roam on their own as wanted or needed. Some folks like to go-go, and some might want to relax, that is up to you. We will have a group of 14 Adult Rec hockey players along. Do let this deter you! We always have a group of non-players along as well each year. The hockey events are low key but also a great way to meet locals and enjoy their hospitality, culture, and food!
