Mark (our driver/tour guide) was amazing! I like how he tells the story of every place we go to - rich and fun! Too bad though, we got caught in a very bad weather and had to end the trip earlier than it should be but it's out of everyone's control and our safety is priority. Nevertheless, I enjoyed every bit and so I am giving 5 stars!

The scenery is stunning, the only problem will be the lack of memory on whichever device you’re taking photos on. The guide is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. There’s a trip to a slate mine thrown in, which had stunning views and a lovely shop at the back. From start to finish we would definitely recommend this trip.

Your guide was Derek, absolutely legend and Historian, learnt so much from him about the different lakes and the history behind their names. Loved learning about Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter: especially their childhood homes, where they holidayed and so forth. Was very grateful for all the breath taking views we were able to see despite the rain, it was worth every Penny!
