Perth: Pinnacle Desert Sunset and Stargazing with Dinner

1. Perth: Pinnacle Desert Sunset and Stargazing with Dinner

Heading north away from the city towards Yanchep National Park, you will make a quick comfort stop which will provide an opportunity to see the koalas and kangaroos. From here you will go up the coast towards the magical Pinnacle Desert to view the mystical limestone rock formations. Arriving here in the late afternoon avoids the crowds and heat, and allows for breathtaking sunsets. Experience the moon-like landscape come to life as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean and the moon rises. Once darkness falls, you will head to the fishing town of Cervantes for your included dinner in a traditional Western Australian tavern to soak up a real Australian atmosphere. Following dinner, you will head out into the night to experience the star-filled night sky. You will head back into the Pinnacle Desert to the observation deck to experience the tranquillity of the national park, and view the night sky without light pollution. Once you have had your fill of the enormous night sky, you will return to Perth arriving at approximately 11.00PM.

If visiting Perth and you want to experience the vastness of Australia and a big sky full of stars, I couldn’t recommend more the Pinnacle Desert Sunset and Stargazing tour with a meal at a classic Australian country town pub. Luke the tour driver and guide was like an encyclopedia of knowledge everything WA, flora, fauna and the big sky. Passionate about WA and making sure that everyone had the best experience possible. Great value for money as you travel out to the outback from your hotel in Perth. Leaving the hustle and bustle to arrive at a landscape of unique and rare beauty. I found it an almost spiritual experience. I’m sure all the staff are great who run the tours but I would recommend you ask for Luke if possible.

Brilliant driver and guide Was not a luxury coach as described in the advert. Despite the air con it was quite stuffy on the coach. Great food. Welcome cup of tea en route A bit time sensitive. Could do with starting the tour 30 mins earlier Dinner time too short. We preordered food and they knew our arrival time, but it started being served 15-20mins later. The cloud obstructed our view of the sunset and stars, but I can imagine it would be spectacular

Travelled on 02/02 on the sunset pinnacle tour: would recommend the trip. A lot was crammed in to the trip so parts felt slightly rushed and lacking in time; for instance the visit to the Yurumba national park lasted only around 30 mins. However the guide helped to make the trip enjoyable - he gave a detailed commentary on all areas visited and helped to get the most out of the trip

A most enjoyable trip to see the wonders of the Pinnacle Desert. The only disappointing part was when we went star gazing, the clouds moved in and consequently no stars. Can't blame the tourist operator for that.

fantastic site, above all during the night with stars. Perfect organization with the guide has gives us a lot of interesting information
