After pickup from your accommodation in Yogyakarta, head straight to the Jomblang Cave to kick off your adventure through Indonesian nature and culture. After being outfitted with rappelling gear, you’ll descend nearly 200 feet to the bottom of the cave before scrambling through a muddy tunnel.  Emerging from the tunnel, you’ll experience what can only be described as heavenly — at the bottom on an immense cave, rays of sunlight stream down towards you through a small hole at the top. After basking in the glow, you’ll exit the cave, bound for the Pramabanan Temple compound. As the sun sets, you’ll explore the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia, picking up firsthand knowledge of the country’s rich religious traditions. If you so choose, you can hire a local guide at the temple complex for a tour to enrich your experience. After ambling through the stunning collection of stone temples, you’ll head back to your accommodation in Yogyakarta.
