My driver Yuni, he’s now my friend, drove me around for 2 days. His English is great and his personality even better! So friendly, patient and helpful. I had an idea of some places I was interested in but he took me to some very beautiful places you’d never find without a local. Even if you had no idea of where to go and what not to miss he could set it all up for you based on your interests. Lovely guy. I’m a 50 year old solo female traveler. I’d say you need at least 3 days in Yogyakarta area. The sunrises over temples. Temples. Caves. And a day of short hikes to beautiful waterfalls! I hope you get lucky enough to book him. Yuni was our driver and also tour guide. He was amazing, friendly and passionate. We started the tour at 4am. Managed to catch the sunrise at Setumba Hill, Borobudur Temple, Jeep Tour at Merapi and had Kopi Luwak with lunch. Even extended our day trip with him because it was too short..

We had a day with Indra as our driver and it was perfect. He took us to the temples we wanted to see, suggested a good layup for the day and drove us there very safely. We talked about Kopi luwak and he took us to a local cafe to taste and buy some to bring home. 10/10, just book it.
