Stop at a viewing point with spectacular views of Kata Tjuta and be sure to have your camera at the ready. Stroll through Walpa Gorge, a desert haven for plants and animals. Take a gentle but rocky track into a world of rare plant species and evergreen shrubs known as Spearwood. Learn about local flora and fauna, and the geology of this amazing formation. Hop back onboard the bus for the comfortable ride back to your meeting point in Yulara.

Board your coach for the drive to the sacred site of Kuniya Piti and be captivated as your driver shares the Tjukurpa.   Hike around the base of Uluru on the Mala Walk. See some of the sacred sites where Aboriginal communities live and prepare for their ceremonies. Some believe that as you walk through this area, you’ll be surrounded by the spirit of the Mala Tjukurpa – the hare-wallaby people. See the vision of a powerful waterfall in a desert at Kantju Gorge! Continue along the Lungkata Walk and hear the Tjukurpa story of a cheeky Blue Tongue Lizard. Discover ancient Aboriginal rock paintings and learn about the Indigenous and European history of Uluru. End at Kuniya Piti, where you will get a certificate of your achievement.

Travel to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) where your Driver Guide will explain the geological development of the area over the millennium. Watch the spectacular sunrise over Kata Tjuta with Uluru in the distance from the western dune viewing area, and enjoy a light breakfast. Your Driver Guide will then escort you on a 2-3 hour walk to the Valley of the Winds lookout. Marvel at the unique flora and admire the view of the central valley of the domes of Kata Tjuta. Later return to Ayers Rock Resort.

See all Uluru has to offer by walking the base of Uluru. If you speak French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian or Mandarin, there are optional audio-guides available for you. Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation approximately one hour before sunrise in a comfortable vehicle fitting a maximum of 11 participants. Your journey then begins into Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park, as you head towards the base of Uluru to start your walk you’ll see the impressive monolith rising in the dawn light marking its overwhelming presence in the area. Your professional guide has been trained in all there is to know about Uluru: the flora, fauna, geology, Aboriginal culture, and history and can’t wait to share it with you making Uluru come to life as you walk around it. You’ll start walking before sunrise to the perfect location to view the spectacular event and marvel as the whole landscape changes under the first rays of light. As you continue on the trail, visit waterholes, rock art sites, and learn the cultural significance of Uluru to the Anangu (local Aboriginal) people. Take time out along the way to enjoy your outback picnic breakfast as you enjoy the surrounding environment and all Uluru has to offer. As you make your way around the base your guide will tell you stories associated with prominent Tjukurpa (creation stories), from the story of Tjukurpa of Liru and Kuniya while you are walking along the Kuniya walk leading to the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole, to the story of the Mala people which you will hear while walking along the Mala Walk to Kantju Gorge. Once you’ve returned to your starting destination your guide will take you back to your Ayers Rock accommodation.

Day 1: Yulara & Uluru Sunset Your eight-day adventure begins at 2 pm, where you'll meet your Storyteller Guide in front of the Desert Gardens Hotel. Visit the Cultural Centre in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Head to a viewing platform to experience the famous changing colours of the magical Uluru at sunset. Tonight, get to know your fellow travellers over our first campfire dinner. And roll out your Aussie swag for the first time underneath a sky full of sparkling stars Day 2: Uluru Rising early, a guided 10km Uluru base walk is your best opportunity to connect with the rock and learn its stories. After lunch, return to camp for some free time Day 3: Yulara to Kings Canyon / Watarrka This morning, it's time for another untamed moment as Kata Tjuta materialises before you. Embark on the Valley of the Winds guided walk for a moment in nature you will never forget. After a lunch stop, travel to Kings Creek, where we will enjoy the one-hour Karrke Aboriginal Cultural Experience Day 4: Kings Canyon to Coober Pedy It's an early start this morning for the spellbinding Kings Canyon Rim Walk. Rest your legs and settle in for a long drive today as we travel across the Northern Territory and South Australian border. There are plenty of stops along the way before we arrive in Coober Pedy, 'The Opal Capital of the World'. Tonight, you will stay in a unique underground bunkhouse and have some free time to explore and grab dinner at one of the many eateries Day 5: Coober Pedy to William Creek After breakfast, spend time with some rescued joeys at Josephine's Gallery and Kangaroo Orphanage. Next stop at the Umoona Opal Mine and Museum. Next, travel on unsealed roads to one of the remotest towns in the world, William Creek. Arriving in town, set up camp and have a hearty counter meal at the heritage-listed William Creek Hotel. Day 6: William Creek to Flinders Ranges via the Oodnadatta Track* Today, travel via the Oodnadatta Track to Flinders Ranges with plenty stops along the way. After a campfire dinner, roll out your swag under a sea of stars blanketing the ancient landscape and spend the evening marvelling at the Milky Way and counting constellations Day 7: Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park This morning, it's time to unearth the magnificent Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park. Regeneration is at our core, so meet with a Park Ranger and give back by participating in meaningful conservation work. After a picnic lunch, take a beautiful scenic drive at Brachina Gorge, Finally, head back to camp to relax and have our final dinner together Day 8: Flinders Ranges to Adelaide Set out on the Arkaroo Rock Trail, which has impressive views over the Chace Range. Enjoy a picnic lunch before travelling to Alligator Gorge in the Southern Flinders Ranges. Our last stint on the road will see us travel through the picturesque Clare Valley wine region before arriving in Adelaide at around 6 pm

Meet your guides and fellow travelers for the trip at Ayers Rock Airport, then head straight into the National Park. Arrive at the park’s Aboriginal Cultural Center and view an array of authentic arts and crafts from the Anangu People, as well as listening to stories about their culture and history. From here take a short drive to the base of Uluru for a guided cultural walk to learn about the Mala People and their role within the landscape. Continue towards the other side of the rock next and walk the tracks of the ancient snakes Kuniya and Liru, then finish off at Mutitjulu Waterhole where you can find the best cave art in the region. As the sun begins to set, head to and iconic Uluru viewpoint and watch the magnificent colors of the sky change and glow along the horizon. The day draws to a close with a healthy bush dinner back at camp before you fall asleep in a classic Aussie swag under a blanket of a billion stars. On day 2 rising early from your swag is rewarded with breakfast and one of the best sunrises you will ever experience. Gaze upon the glow of the sun as light is returned to your desert surroundings, illuminating this magical landscape before your very eyes. After sunrise, take a 50 km drive and see the changing shapes of Kata Tjuta as you approach the National Park's second incredible formation. Follow your guide on a hike between the deep and mysterious valleys and feel as if you've momentarily arrived on another planet. Take advantage of the viewpoint here to capture some of the best photo opportunities the region has to offer.

Come late afternoon, arrive in the tiny outback settlement of William Creek. Accommodation: Swag camping at William Creek Meals Included: B | - |D Day 4: William Creek to Coober Pedy After breakfast, journey to the famous underground town of Coober Pedy. Afterwards, visit Josephine's Gallery & Kangaroo Orphanage and Umoona Opal Mine & Museum. Visit the Aboriginal Heritage site, The Kanku-Breakaways Conservation Park, for mesmerising scenery of the Moon Plains.
