After pick up from Ayers Rock Resort, join your guide to explore the most profound and culturally significant monolith in Australia. The tour will travel through the outback landscapes to the entrance of the Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park. From this point, it is only a matter of minutes before the spectre of Uluru rises from the sand dunes to demonstrate its enormity and presence in this country. Your first step allows you a photographic opportunity of this amazing icon. With Uluru looming in front of you, journey toward the base. Walk with your guide to a place of tranquillity. The closer you wander the more you surrender to the realization of the sheer size of this monolith. As you drive around the base, your guide will take you to the entrance of Mutitjulu Waterhole, a semi-permanent watercourse nestled in the contours of Uluru. Here you will learn the Creation stories of Liru (poisonous snake) and Kuniya (python) as well as a number of other stories associated with other prominent Tjukurpa (dreaming) stories. You will see the rock art of the ancients and learn how Uluru was, and still is, a significant location for teaching young Aboriginal people. You will then adjourn to the new Talinguru Nyakunytjaku viewing area for sunset where you will observe an uninterrupted view of Uluru with Kata Tjuta in the background. See the colours of the rock and sky change before your eyes. Enjoy some sparkling wine and light, delicious refreshments. Your guide will then return you to your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort.

Here the guide will teach the group how to learn the basics of driving a segway. Once ready, glide around the entire base of Uluru you'll set off on a fully guided tour around Uluru's full base. Explore the magnetic allure of Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock, on this half-day tour of the UNESCO-listed landmark. After being conveniently picked-up from your local hotel, begin your tour with a guided drive around the base of Uluru. Following the complete loop, you will have the chance to follow the Kuniya Walk to the Mutitjulu Waterhole. A visit to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Center to see the works of ancient rock art found there will help you understand better the spiritual significance of Uluru to the local Aboriginal peoples, both in the past and the present. After an informative exploration of Uluru, you will get to relax with a glass of wine and a selection of canapes as you watch the dazzling sunset over Ayers Rock. Day 1: Yulara & Uluru Sunset Your eight-day adventure begins at 2 pm, where you'll meet your Storyteller Guide in front of the Desert Gardens Hotel. Visit the Cultural Centre in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Head to a viewing platform to experience the famous changing colours of the magical Uluru at sunset. Tonight, get to know your fellow travellers over our first campfire dinner. And roll out your Aussie swag for the first time underneath a sky full of sparkling stars Day 2: Uluru Rising early, a guided 10km Uluru base walk is your best opportunity to connect with the rock and learn its stories. Engage in a dot painting workshop with a talented local Anangu artist. After lunch, return to camp for some free time. Day 3: Yulara to Kings Canyon / Watarrka It's time for another untamed moment as Kata Tjuta materialises before you. Rising 546 metres above the ground, this sacred site is a defining feature of the Red Centre. Enjoy a hike before arriving at our camp at Kings Creek Station to enjoy some chill time before dinner. Day 4: Kings Canyon to Coober Pedy It's an early start this morning for the spellbinding Kings Canyon Rim Walk. Rest your legs and settle in for a long drive today as we travel across the Northern Territory and South Australian border. There are plenty of stops along the way before we arrive in Coober Pedy, 'The Opal Capital of the World'. Tonight, you will stay in a unique underground bunkhouse and have some free time to explore and grab dinner at one of the many eateries Day 5: Coober Pedy to William Creek After breakfast, stop at the Umoona Opal Mine and Museum to try your hand at fossicking for opals. Spend time with some rescued joeys at Josephine's Gallery and Kangaroo Orphanage. Travel on unsealed roads to one of the remotest towns in the world, William Creek. Arriving in town, set up camp and have a hearty counter meal at the heritage-listed William Creek Hotel. Day 6: William Creek to Flinders Ranges via the Oodnadatta Track* Today, travel via the Oodnadatta Track to Flinders Ranges, with plenty of stops along the way. After a campfire dinner, roll out your swag under a sea of stars blanketing the ancient landscape and spend the evening marvelling at the Milky Way and counting constellations. Day 7: Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park This morning, it's time to unearth the magnificent Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park. Meet with a Park Ranger and give back by participating in meaningful conservation work. After a picnic lunch, take a beautiful scenic drive at Brachina Gorge, Finally, head back to camp to relax and have our final dinner together. Day 8: Flinders Ranges to Adelaide Set out on the Arkaroo Rock Trail, which has impressive views over the Chace Range. Enjoy a picnic lunch before travelling to Alligator Gorge in the Southern Flinders Ranges. Our last stint on the road will see us travel through the picturesque Clare Valley wine region before arriving in Adelaide at around 6 pm.

See the beauty of the desert as you look for camels roaming through the area where the salt lake meets the sand. Then, fly to the majestic Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Discover the beauty and ancient traditions of the Australian outback on a 4-day tour with a guide, starting from Alice Springs. Visit sites like Ayers Rock, Uluru, and Curtin Springs. On the way to Uluru, stop for morning tea before continuing to Ayers Rock, a journey of around 4.5 hours. Once you've arrived, enjoy lunch at the Yulara Walpa Lobby Bar. After lunch, head to the Sails in the Desert hotel to check in. Spend the rest of the day at Uluru, where you can take easy walks while learning about the site's sacred traditions and stories. In the afternoon, savor delicious drinks and canapés with a beautiful view of Uluru in the setting sun. Just after sunset, you'll be dropped off at the Sails in the Desert hotel to enjoy a 3-course dinner at the Ilkari restaurant. Day 2 Get an early start with a walk to a viewing point, where you can admire a sunrise view of Uluru while you sip a coffee or tea. Once the sun has fully risen, return to the hotel for breakfast. At 9 AM, head to Kata Tjuta to walk the Walpa Gorge trail. Take in the amazing view from the site’s viewing platform. Return to the resort for lunch, before taking part in an interactive Maruku dot-painting workshop. Learn about aboriginal art and try out the techniques for yourself. Spend the rest of the day with free leisure time. Take the chance to explore the Red Centre with a variety of optional activities (not included in the tour price), such as the Field of Lights show, a stargazing tour, a sunset camel ride, or the Sounds of Silence dining experience. Day 3 Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading out at 9:30 AM for the day's adventure, with your first stop at Curtin Springs. After lunch in Curtin Springs, explore Kings Creek Station. On the way, stop at the Mount Conner Lookout. Finish the day with the Karrke Aboriginal tour to see, feel, and experience the aboriginal culture up close. Relax with dinner and accommodation at the luxurious Mort Conway Camp. Day 4 Start the final day of the tour with an early morning walk in the Kings Canyon National Park. Take in the awe-inspiring natural landscape of the region, and get breathtaking views with an optional helicopter flight. After lunch at Kings Canyon Resort, start making your way back to Alice Springs. Stop over at Erldunda Roadhouse to grab some afternoon tea and see emus in their natural habitat. Finally, you'll be dropped off at your accommodation in Alice Springs.
