What people are saying about Zaandam

It was a nice day trip. The pickup at the hotel went smoothly and no need to worry about renting a boat once we get there. We also got to ride on one of the smaller electric powered boats instead of the large ones, so we all get the opportunity to drive it around Giethoorn. Zaanse Schans was also a very beautiful location. If you are interested in a day trip to Giethoorn but are not driving, this might be a nice option for you but if you are serious about photography or kayaking, planning to spend a night there might be nice as well.

Nice 6 hour trip. 2 hours out / home and 2 hours at the mills / city. Lots of space on the sun deck - otherwise space down in the boat. The mills and the miniput town were all worth it. Lots to see in the channels back and forth.

The trip was awesome. We are thankful to our guide Cherry. She told us interesting stories, even took photo of our family. We had an opportunity to drive the boat. We recommend Cherry and this one day trip.

Cherry isn't just an excellent tour guide, she is an excellent person. Definitely would recommend this trip to anybody. They let me drive the boat through the canals which was the highlight of my trip.

Pleasant and friendly cruise only small downside the crew did not know the time of the reservation
