What people are saying about Zaanse Schans

The venue is about 20 mins north of Amsterdam City Centre and easy to get to tram and bus; or take up the offer of a pickup from the owner which is good value. The owner is really friendly, helpful and a free coffee on arrival :-) Download the routiq app before you arrive - it will save time. The app downloads your route for the day and takes all the hassle out of navigating. Quick lesson at the start so you are safe and then the Amsterdam countryside is all yours! We hired the electric 'vesper' type bikes and did a 50km route. Really easy, safe and saw a different side to Amsterdam. Remember lots of layers, gloves and a hat - it was cold when we were there - April 22 We stopped for lunch about 2/3rds around the route at the Brasserie de Jutter which was really good too. No hesitation in recommending Holland by Electric Scooter.

It was so much fun. As soon as we were there, he offered us a coffee or tea. In the meantime he explained the route to us and recommended the highlights. There are 5 routes that not only go through the city, we saw a row of 9 windmills and you can park the scooter and go for a walk without any problems. Since we were all newbies, he started school for us right away. Always my pleasure.

Very nice excursion. Make sure to take windproof clothing with you as it can get quite fresh even when the weather is nice. Recommendable!

Our guide was so nice! He was informative and took us all around the country side!

You must see those places. You must spend one day.
