Day 1: Marrakech — Ouarzazate — Zagora This program will begin at 7:00 AM from Marrakech. First, take the road to Zagora city via Ouarzazate. Day 1: Atlas Mountains, Kasbahs, and Zagora Following pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakesh, begin by crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’ Tichka Pass en route to Ouarzazate. Stop at the UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou for a guided tour, then head to Ouarzazate to visit the Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Cinema Studio.  Take a break for lunch before continuing to Zagora via Agdz and the Draa Valley. Spend two days exploring mountainous and desert scenery, as well as traditional Moroccan cities and towns with an experienced guide.   Day 1: Depart from Marrakesh at 9:00 AM in a modern, air-conditioned minibus and head to the Atlas Mountains. Drive through the range, taking in magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and snow-capped mountains. You’ll soon arrive at the Kasbah Aït Benhaddou, an ancient fortified village that exemplifies Morocco’s traditional earthen clay architecture.   Afterwards, continue to Ouarzazate for lunch at a local café or restaurant. Continue on along the Drâa Valley to reach the town of Zagora. Here, you’ll meet your camels, who will take you on a 1.5-hour trek into the dunes. From atop these tall, sometimes graceful animals, you’ll get amazing views of the desert on your way to your camp in the dunes.   Day 2:  After a traditional Berber breakfast, head out just before sunrise on another 1.5-hour camel ride to get the best views of the changing colors of the sky. Head back to Zagora by camel and say goodbye to your traveling companion.   From Zagora, head back to the Atlas Mountains by minivan, with plenty of stops for photos and lunch. You’ll arrive at Marrakesh between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM and be taken to your hotel.

Day 1: Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Draa Valley – Zagora After getting picked up in Marrakech, head to Zagora. Your first stop will be Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Go through the Tizi N Tichka path, in order to get the Tamdakhte Kasbah and the one at Ait Ben Haddou. There, you will visit this UNESCO world heritage site and continue the journey to Ouarzazate and Agdez, where you will enjoy a panoramic view of the Draa Valley. Then, you will follow this valley until Tansikht, where you will be able to discover kasbahs and typical villages along the Draa Valley until Zagora. From there, you will enjoy an hour camel ride with your guide to get to the authentic Tizi desert camp. You’ll be picked up at your hotel or riad in Marrakech at 07:20 to begin your 2-day desert excursion. On the way to southern Morocco, you’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’ Tichka Pass (2,260 meters in altitude). The drive takes you along zigzagging roads as you enjoy the views of the Berber villages of Imouzzar Valley. Stop to explore Ait Benhaddou, one of the best-preserved villages in southern Morocco. This fortified village was built by the Ait Aissa tribe in the 15th century for caravan traders traveling from Timbuktu to Andalusia via Marrakech and Tangier. Day 1: Ouarzazate - Zagora - Mhamid - Erg Chegaga After pickup from your accommodation in Ouarzazate, choose your desired activity in the city. The Kasbah of Taourirt awaits the photographers, the film studios and the film museum are interesting for adults as well as for your kids. After, continue through the Draa valley in the direction of the desert. You'll have enough time to visit Zagora and its surroundings, such as the like the Jewish Quarter in Amzerou, and have a look at the huge palm groves. Afterwards, continue towards the desert to Mhamid. Along the way, stop at a 16th-century Saadian town called Tamegroute. There, visit an old coran library and a subterranean Kasbah. Superb excursion! Our guide Lahcen was great! As well as our driver abdou top !! The first day we visited the kasbah tel ouet: magnificent! As well as plenty of photo breaks in front of sumptuous landscapes! The evening in the desert: brilliant! The camel ride: happiness! In addition the ballad was long so great! Really recommend this excursion !! Thank you to our guide for this great time !!

It was really an unique experience that you must have it once in a lifetime. We were lucky to have Said as our driver. He was a very kind man who teached us a lot about Berbers culture, and the history behind all of the places we visited. I definitely recommend him not only as your driver but as a tour guide. Thanks to our guide Abdou for a fun and safe journey. The road was hard and long, but Abdou made it as comfortable as possible. We had many different photo stops. I learned a lot of interesting facts about life in Morroco thanks to our guide.
